R.H Malcolm Fraser’s 10th Anniversary Commemorative Service and Introduction of AVRNC’s Victoria Chapter.

The Committee of Management and Members of the Australian-Vietnamese Refugees National Council (AVRNC Inc,) are honoured to invite:

To attend The Right Honourable Malcolm Fraser MP, AC, CH, GCL, PC Prime Minister of Australia’s 10th Anniversary Commemorative Service organised by our Council to pay respect, express our gratitude and to remember the decisions he had made to save and accept tens of thousands of Vietnamese refugees into Australia.

The Service, which includes an Interfaith and a Traditional Vietnamese ceremony, will be held,

2025 also marks the 50th Anniversary of the Settlement of the Vietnamese-Australian Refugee Community in Australia which existed due largely to the life saving decision and leadership of Mr Fraser as Prime Minister of Australia.

This event will be an important opportunity us, the former Vietnamese refugees to say “Thank You” to Mr Malcolm Fraser, his family and to Australia after 50 years of successful settlement and freedom in Australia.

After the Ceremony, you are invited to join us at an Introductory and Celebratory Lunch to celebrate the establishment of the AVRNC-Victoria Chapter.
